Our “Bags of Goodness” have been delivered!

We understand the important role proper nutrition plays in our education, as well as our physical and mental health.

We have continued to provide a food program for our students who normally access our breakfast and lunch program. We have provided over 200 families with gift cards from Safeway, and beginning this week we are providing families with groceries including lunch and breakfasts items we are calling “Bags of Goodness” that will be delivered weekly.

SD 52 would like to send a huge thank you to Bandstra for donating the delivery services, the Port Authority for providing assistance, Safeway for their quick response, and the many School District staff that contributed to making the “Bags of Goodness” a reality!
