Attention teachers and afterschool activity coordinators! Did you know that School District #52 has a partnership with the Museum of Northern BC? That’s right! We’ve partnered with the Museum to offer over a dozen Museum tours as field trips, free of charge.

Tours are open to all teachers and afterschool activity groups, and cover a wide range of topics for all grade levels. Bring your class to learn more about the history of the Northwest Coast region and local Prince Rupert area, the construction of the railroad and early colonial times, and the culture and traditions of the Northwest Coast First Nations. The Museum tours offer diverse educational opportunities in the Museum’s magnificent longhouse overlooking Prince Rupert harbour.
