COVID-19 CONTACT TRACING UPDATE

Please see the following updates from Northern Health & School District 52 regarding Covid -19 Contact Tracing.

As of December 10th, 2020 :
Public health will be also be reducing the frequency of calls to people in self-isolation after testing positive for COVID-19, and not all people who are self-isolating will receive daily monitoring calls. Individuals may instead receive regular calls from their primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner), or get support by contacting the NH Online (Virtual) Clinic 1-844-645-7811Public Health will continue to call all COVID-19 positive individuals at the end of their isolation period, to release them from the requirement to self-isolate. Please click here for the full article from Northern Health

On Thursday, October 29, School District 52 Prince Rupert was made aware of a confirmed case of COVID-19 at Ecole Roosevelt Park Elementary School. We know many families will have questions and concerns. The purpose of this message is to explain the protocols that the school district follows and to answer some common questions you may have. Please be aware that the school district acts under the guidance of the BC Centre for Disease Control and the Ministry of Education in relation to the management of illness and confirmed cases, and the communication protocols we follow.
